This
all-rounder captained South Africa's non-White National Team before emigrating
to England and making a place for himself in the English National Team. In
1968, he was included in the England touring squad for South Africa but the
ruling apartheid government in South Africa objected to his inclusion as he was
non-White. The tour was subsequently cancelled and South Africa was later
banned from International Cricket for two decades. However, in 2000 South
Africa Cricket Board nominated him as one of the 10 South African cricketers of
the Century, despite him never representing them. Identify the player.
